Castlegar lady going through impaired driving fees after collision close to Nelson

The incident closed Freeway 3A on Monday

Police say a Castlegar lady may very well be charged with impaired driving after she was concerned in a collision that shut down Freeway 3A north of Nelson on Monday morning.

The accident simply after 9:45 a.m. occurred when a northbound white Dodge Ram pickup truck collided with a southbound black Cadillac Escalade, in line with a press release launched by RCMP.

A Nelson man in his 70s who was driving the Cadillac obtained non-life threatening accidents. His canine, who was additionally within the automobile, later died.
