Donald Wing, lifetime resident of Cadillac, handed away on Friday, February 19, 2021 on the Tustin Home. He was 100.

Donald was born on February 7, 1921 to Rufus and Sarah (Moore) Wing in Cadillac, Michigan. He answered the decision of responsibility serving in the USA Military throughout World Battle II. On his birthday, February 7, 1942, he married the previous Marie Lincoln. The couple loved 65 loving years collectively till her time of passing on June 14, 2007. He started his profession working for Chris-Craft Boats for 27 years. He then labored as an teacher for the Job Corp. He spent the rest of his working years on the State of Michigan Division of Transportation till his time of retirement. Donald and Marie loved going fishing and tenting collectively all through the years whereas elevating their 3 youngsters. He cherished the time spent together with his household, particularly his youngsters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. In his spare time he loved farming, horses, and searching. He may usually be discovered woodworking and tinkering with equipment within the storage.

He’s survived by his youngsters, Donald (Judy) Wing of Cadillac, Judy (Artwork) Vandercook of Cadillac, and Terry (Terri) Wing of Grand Rapids; grandchildren, Keith (Michelle) Wing, Kevin (Michelle) Wing, Brian (Becky) Carpenter, Brandy (Dan) Steere, Loretta (Joe) Bristol, Matthew Wing, and Stephen (Olga) Shaffer; 24 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great-grandchildren; and plenty of different loving relations and buddies.

He was preceded in dying by his dad and mom, his spouse, Marie, and all 11 of his siblings.

Funeral companies for Donald can be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 2:00 pm with visitation held one hour prior on the Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Dwelling with Gary Pullen to preside.

Burial will happen within the Cherry Grove Cemetery subsequent to his spouse.
