DETROIT – A person was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash that occurred Saturday round 8:56 p.m. within the space of Gratiot Avenue and Mapleridge Road.

Police suspect the automobile that hit the sufferer when he was crossing over Gratiot is likely to be a grey Cadillac.

In a separate incident, a 28-year-old man died and a 19-year-old girl was critically injured in a pedestrian crash that occurred round 2:30 a.m. Saturday within the space of West Seven Mile and Sunderland roads, Detroit police say.
