KINGSLEY — A 24-year-old Luzerne man is in custody after he hijacked a Bay Space Transportation Authority bus, crashed into one other automobile Tuesday in Kingsley and injured a Manton girl.
The Cadillac Michigan State Police Publish reported that at 7:40 a.m. Tuesday, the 24-year-old Luzerne man boarded the BATA bus on the Northland Meals Grocery retailer in Kingsley bus cease and tried to take the fireplace extinguisher out of its holder. The bus driver radioed for assist. Fearing the person was going to strike him or spray him with the fireplace extinguisher, the bus driver exited the bus, based on police.
The Luzerne man proceeded to steal the bus and tried to show east on M-113, however police stated the bus was struck by a westbound passenger automotive pushed by a 29-year-old Manton girl. Police stated there have been no passengers on the bus on the time of the crash, however the Manton girl suffered minor accidents.
